Ultra-modern femininity
This year, two rival teams are going head-to-head: the not so well-behaved baby dolls and the urban warriors. The former, which sport vintage mary janes and 70s boots, and the latter who prefer chunky loafers and boots. For a delightful retro look with jeans or an A-line dress, the baby dolls have fallen head over heels for the ultra-feminine charm of patent leather mary janes. We can also see them wear-ing leather boots with a 70s vibe and adorned with square or trapeze heels, in multitudes of shades from rust, brown, snakeskin and even wine-coloured and white. The riders of the tarmac have been wearing army boots since last year; it would appear they just can’t get enough of them. These thick-soled boots allow them to gain height in a stylistic sense and to also add a modern touch to their bo-hemian dresses from the 2015 era. This season has also seen these chunky soles make themselves at home in the traditional loafer shoe. A revamp of a true classic, giving it a somewhat playful tone, which can be worn with socks and a short suit. It’s the new feminine....don’t miss out!
